When that occurs, we can switch those views with the truth from Scripture. I constantly replace lies with truth, realizing my marriage with Jesus is the only detail that completely satisfies and gives me peace. Jesus is far better than a cleanse residence, neat property, or superhero husband. As we audit our thoughts and align them with the Word of God, we practical experience what our hearts are actually just after. They have been designed to be fulfilled by an personal relationship with our Creator.

Jesus, 
Thank you for illuminating the vulnerability of our minds and the temptation to remedy weak point in our power. Forgive us for believing other matters will satisfy as only You can. It need to crack your heart to see your small children chasing a thing that will under no circumstances convey them the peace and rest we desperately crave. But Lord, thank you for gently drawing our consideration to these behaviors and beckoning us into a deeper marriage with you. Lord, please continue to exhibit us how you can entirely satisfy and give us peace that surpasses our situation and understanding. Lord, assist us to come to be fantastic shows of your great ability and like to an onlooking planet desperate for you! Thank you for utilizing our life for Your function even with our shortcomings.
