These are the things that EA should fix right away in FIFA 23!
After 30 years of huge success, FIFA told EA it was ending its partnership with the company, which meant the end of the FIFA game series. The last game made by EA was FIFA 23, and the company said it would make more games under the name EA Sports FC.
With more freedom, I think EA will be able to make games that are more fun and difficult by adding more leagues. There were some good and bad things about FIFA 23, and I’m sure you’d want some changes made to the EA Sports FC game as well.
Improve the Career Mode
For the past ten years, FIFA’s Career Mode has been one of the best parts of the EA Sports games. You can add your own style to the game in Career Mode by directing a single player or a whole team.
It looks like it’s broken in FIFA 23, though. EA Sports FC should also do better.
The Mode is boring to play because it doesn’t offer anything new. You can only do the same boring things you can do in FIFA 19. At the very least, they should add some flair by doing things like lowering pay for teams that get relegated.
Introduce an Online Career Mode
It would be fun to work out player moves with your friends or have your own league with other gamers. These are the things that most FIFA fans want, and playing the game online could make it even more fun and challenging.
Even though the Career Mode has been fun, most players don’t like that FIFA 23 doesn’t have it now that they can play games online. Sure, an online career mode would change the game in a big way.
Include Women’s League
Let’s face it: around the world, women’s football is slowly picking up speed. This should also show up in football games.
It would be great if there was a league just for women’s football teams in FIFA 23. The game already has some features related to women’s football, like star careers.
I really hope that EA Sports FC will add female players to the Ultimate Team. Having women’s teams in games can change the way people play and get more women to join in.
Revamp Ultimate Team
The most famous mode in EA’s history is Ultimate Team. When it was added to FIFA 09, it made the game more competitive and satisfying. Putting in a lot of work to get world-class football players is fun in FIFA games before FIFA 23.
But over the last few updates, the competitive factor has slowly gone away to the point where you can get the Benzemas and Halaands with little work. It will keep feeling like the same thing over and over in EA Sports FC unless they make it more difficult.
Add More Celebration
EA has worked on how your players party with their fans, that much is clear. They can run or slide toward the fans, give each other high-fives, and hug.
But they can only do that close to the goal. A small group of fans are celebrating, but most of them are acting like nothing happened.
EA should add more electricity to parties. As an example, get more fans to stand close to the player.
It could be fans taking selfies with players after their team wins the league. This might make people want to play EA Sports FC more.
Make the Game More Accessible
Most passionate gamers have trouble with money. As well, you have to pay money to get FIFA 23.
This might make you not want to play games, since not many people have the money to buy them. EA could make the game free to play like League of Legends did. This would make it easier for more people to play and enjoy the game.
Also, as you might have guessed, EA does make money from Ultimate Team. They can lower the price of EA Sports FC if that’s not possible.
Objectives Claiming
In Ultimate Team, objectives are very important for getting rewards and starting new tasks. But EA has limited their access, which makes it hard for you to do as many as you can.
In other words, each Objective must be claimed every time you start the game.
Not only is this annoying, it takes a lot of time. It even goes against the sense of having so many goals to reach.
In any case, it’s not always clear if you’ve met certain goals. It would be better if EA added a “Collect All Objectives” button to aid the process.
Glitch Control
There were a lot of bugs and funny problems with FIFA 23. For instance, it can get too hard to play an online group game.
When there are problems with latency or weird camera angles, it quickly becomes annoying.
The physics of Drift Boss are the same way. Strange and funny things can happen between your players, like one going through another character.
The EA Sports FC game needs to have these bugs fixed or at least little ones should be present.
Spice Up Matches
EA can also make things better by making grudge matches more exciting. For instance, they can add talks with managers before derby games and make the games more physical.
Cutscenes of your characters using things you’ve bought in Career Mode would be another great addition.
Adding more awards, like the Balon d’Or or the Asian Best Player award, wouldn’t hurt. Then, EA can add images of your players accepting the prizes.
This can really improve how the game feels and how it’s played.
Game Presentation
The way EA Sports FC is presented should be changed. FIFA trailers get old when they show too much motion on the field.
EA should add more scenes that don’t happen on the field. You could talk about some heated events from the previous season.
